Route Maps:Day 19 to 21 took us from Ohio and into Pennsylvania.
Notes from the road:It's Thursday morning and Ryan and I are getting ready to head off for another day of riding. Our goal was to ride across America in 29 days. We are ahead of schedule and are now trying to get to New York by Saturday afternoon. As of yesterday we've rode our bikes 2,829 miles in 24 days. I think we are now in the hardest part of the ride. Pennsylvania is beautiful, and it has lots of rolling hills. These hills will take you down a hill at 35-40mph and then go right back up at 6-7mph. This isn't so bad if you have a few of them, but there are at least two of these per mile. I think we are riding about 120+ miles today, so we can get to New York City to meet Shane. Shane is the guy I met a year ago who talked Ryan and I into this ride. I've updated the website, so go check out the new pictures. www.canyouride.com I hope this finds everyone doing well. The next pictures will probably be of New York. If I don't talk with you, have a safe 4th of July weekend. See you all very soon. FERG
