Days 8 through 14 took us on a ride from Salt Lake City, Utah into Nebraska.

Notes from the road:

Hello everyone, Just got in tonight and had Internet access. I have a way now of uploading pictures to the website, so go check out the new pictures.

We arrived tonight in Grand Island, Nebraska. We crossed over yesterday and will arrive in Fremont, Nebraska tomorrow night. By Tuesday we will be in Ohio.

Here are a few stats for the ride. As of tonight we have rode 1678 miles. It has taken us 119 hours to ride that many miles. We have raised $4300 for Big Brothers/Big Sisters. I have burned over 58,000 calories in the past two weeks.

A special thanks goes out to Michael Kane for his donation of $1000 to BBBS. Also Matt Rice, Chris Duval, and others who have offered to take care of some of our motel rooms. Chris and Shelly Weber helped me out by mailing out an IPOD with music (I don't know why they got me the rainbow edition) I think I got their joke when I heard 15 Elton John
songs in a row. Nikki Jagusch also made this possible by flying out and taking care of our bags while we rode up the Rocky Mountain National Park.

Thank you to everyone for all of your support. These past few days were the hardest. Ryan and I rode 150 miles yesterday and 138 today. Nebraska is very flat, but it is also very windy, and it blows across your bike and slows you down. Anyway, we made it and are doing well. We are on track to make our goal of New York by the 4th of July.
